Other events to come during 2022 include the Rochester Sweeps Festival starting on 30 April. Loved by locals, and visitors who come from all over the UK, join together in the historic streets, parks, bars and pubs of Rochester to enjoy live folk music and dance. The details of the festival are still currently in the planning, but could include a river parade, a big-screen broadcast of the national celebrations in London and beacon lighting.
